Why Hyster?

Simple: it fit the specs and was available.

With the post-pandemic boom and chip shortage, nice electric forklifts are stunningly hard to come by.

We needed a new, or nearly new, 4,000 or 5,000 lb electric forklift.

• Wanted a Toyota but we would have had to wait for like a year.
• Really wanted a Crown, but they wouldn’t call us back—sounded like they simply didn’t have inventory to sell.
• Hyster had units available relatively quickly and this one was exactly what we needed spec-wise, so we went for it (even though I really dislike the way Hysters look when the shiny yellow paint fades).

This is gonna be a forklift we keep for many years. It’s so damn nice and quiet. Love it.
